Percy Jackson and the Olympians season three arrives on Disney+ on 20 November

Disney+ and Hulu will launch the third season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians with a two-episode premiere on 20 November, with two new episodes arriving each week after that.

Walker Scobell, who plays Percy, made the announcement at New York Comic-Con, where the series returned to the Main Stage. The panel, moderated by Damian Holbrook, included an exclusive sneak peek at the new episodes and a discussion of what's ahead.

Season three adapts The Titan's Curse, the third novel in Rick Riordan's bestselling series, which has not been brought to the screen before. The story picks up after Percy and Annabeth Chase's two quests, with Annabeth captured by the forces of Kronos. Percy sets out to rescue her alongside Grover and a group of unlikely questmates, and must free a chained goddess, deal with the Titan's curse and try to prevent the fall of Olympus, all while facing a prophecy with dire consequences.

The series was created by Riordan and Jonathan E. Steinberg. Steinberg executive produces with Dan Shotz and Craig Silverstein, alongside Riordan, Rebecca Riordan, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Jeremy Bell of The Gotham Group, Bert Salke, James Bobin, Jim Rowe, Albert Kim, Sarah Watson and Tamara Becher-Wilkinson. Jet Wilkinson joins as an executive producer on the final two episodes.

The cast includes Scobell, Leah Sava' Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, Tamara Smart and Levi Chrisopulos. Seasons one and two are streaming now on Disney+.
